Mark Lockyer | Psychological Support

When life is functioning on the outside, but not feeling sustainable internally

I work with adults experiencing ongoing stress, emotional overload, or psychological strain, where things are still functioning — but no longer feeling manageable.

The focus is structured, practical psychological support to restore clarity, stability, and capacity.

Who I Work With

This is for people who are:

  • Managing ongoing stress, pressure, or emotional load
  • Functioning in daily life, but feeling internally stretched
  • Experiencing burnout, overwhelm, or cognitive fatigue
  • Dealing with persistent anxiety or emotional exhaustion
  • Wanting structured support rather than open-ended counselling

What We Focus On

  • Stress and burnout patterns
  • Emotional overload and recovery issues
  • Anxiety linked to responsibility or performance pressure
  • Cognitive fatigue and mental exhaustion
  • Sleep disruption linked to stress
  • Building steadier day-to-day functioning

How Sessions Work

Sessions are structured, practical, and focused on real-world functioning. We identify what is maintaining the current pattern and work toward realistic, sustainable change.

Professional Experience

I have experience supporting people through a range of complex psychological challenges, including:

  • Chronic stress and burnout
  • Complex emotional and relational difficulties
  • Trauma-related presentations
  • Long-term anxiety and mood difficulties
  • Persistent psychological distress impacting daily functioning
